Environmental Photography Competition

Enter the OBS Gallery competition for the chance to show your work alongside those in the CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year exhibition. There are amazing digital cameras and photography vouchers for the first prize in each category .

Use the summer to take your own photographs of environmental subjects that you want to draw attention to. This is an opportunity to raise a local issue that you snapped on your phone, or an international issue you captured on an SLR. Is plastic having an impact on your local waterway? Has a wild animal adapted its behaviour to a change in its environment? Can you catch the light on local solar panels or a wind farm? We want you to include a description of the image, with details of where & when it was taken, what was happening and what the environmental issue is.

There are 3 categories; 12 and under, 13-18, 19 years and over.

All submissions are free and must be made via the web link below. The competition is open to amateurs and professionals alike.
